This is one of three magnolias I’ve painted to date. All have different backgrounds, but similar foregrounds. One was co-painted with my good friend Suzi Vitulli (not this one).
When I lived in the South for three years, it was quite the treat to see the magnolias when they were in bloom. They were copious and everywhere!
