This is the very first Dandelion project of several I’ve painted. It, and one other, the Chinook Dandeliohon Poof, are my favorites by far. (Although every paiting always has its merits!)
What’s ot to like about a painting that features turquoise. It’s even a color I wear often!
Oh, and the way the “poofs” were painted employed two techniques. First, white crayon onto the paper before starting to paint. Then at the very end, white watercolor gouache stamped onto the paper using crumpled up wax paper.
