Prints and Original available. The original measures 11×14 and comes matted, but not framed. I painted this while under instruction (taking a workshop), so I consider it to be in the same type of category as a Teacher Demo Special painting which means an excellent value to you.
This painting is not upside down. Trumpet flowers really do look like this…and they’re pretty large. First time I ever saw one in person, I was duly impressed.
The pinky-purple in the background is a favorite shade…Schmincke Red Violet. Goes on purple and turns more pink as it dries. Speaking of the backround, I was the only one in class who did a different color background. Everyone else mimicked the teacher.
