I painted this in early April while in Florida (I tend to paint a LOT while vacationing). To get the nifty round cherry shapes, I used this sponge thingy that I think is called a Pongee. I can’t remember now! I learned the trick though from my oil painting buddy, Kely Delp. It’s matted in a warm gingery color, and warm reddish wide contemporary wood frame.
