I painted this while I in Wallace, Idaho, USA, on a rainy day at the Wallace Blues Festival. I hung out by the window of our motel room painting and listening to music until the rain stopped about 4 pm. A guitar seemed like fitting subject matter given where I was and what I was hearing.
I like that the frets, strings, and outline of the guitar are not perfect. Makes it more interesting and artful. Kind of like life. 🙂
