I started this fish painting while I was preparing to teach a two-day Tropical Underwaterscapes watercolor workshop. I didn’t finish the piece until I spend a week up at Wapato Point on Lake Chelan, Washington, USA, doing a whol lotta nothin’. But what I did do was a whole lotta painting. 🙂
I like the contrast in colors between the background and the fish. I usually cross pollinate colors in my artwork, but in this piece I did not.
