I love painting florals in a loose manner like this. Definitely suits my taste for a “still life.” Not very realistic or traditional. Hee.
I started this as a demonstration piece when I teaching a private lesson, but finished it up on my own while I was on a vacation at Lake Chelan, Washington, USA (specifically, Wapato Point Resort).
